Arsenal got a result (Good job), BUT City dominated possession because Arsenal's midfield sat back. They came to the Etihad looking for a draw and got it. If Man Utd played the exact same game Arsenal did on Sunday (which we have been TRYING for the past 3/4 years), pundits and rival fans would have shouted "washed club" "Negative game plan" etc etc Arsenal being actual title contenders could have actually tried taking the game at City and try and dominate that midfield because they actually had the players on the pitch and the confidence to do that. I think that should be the takeaway from the game.

Both teams were poor at least City had a go and made some attacking changes to go for it, arsenal didn't try to win they tried not to lose, this season playing for a draw aint gonna win you a title. This is the problem with an inexperienced Arsenal team not understanding what stage of a season they are at, they were arguably favourites to win the league and if they beat City even more so. Don't get me wrong a solid result shouldn't be the aim of a title-challenging team tho, you are trying to prove you are the best not that you can just stop the best from scoring and draw (My opinion)

Theo and Reev are sitting there with the mindset that Arsenal are leading the league and their goal is to "not lose" just like the invincible. They have to win and beat these teams to win the league. You cant take draws against the teams around you and expect to win the league.
