I would argue that in the first half, it was Spurs who were the better team as they were coming forward for most of those 45 minutes, but when Arsenal had their chances, they took them really well. 2nd half, Spurs fell off a bit, but that Raya mistake got them going again, and then there was the penalty which made the game a lot more nerve-racking

Far more clinical and could have scored more if it was wasnt for a silly assists by rice and raya. Other than Romero's headed chances and sons spooned shot spurs didnt really do anything. Here me out about why Michael Oliver didn’t call the Rice penalty: First of all, I think it should have been a penalty. However, if you watch the replay from the front angle, it appears to me that Rice kicks out but retracts his foot before making any significant contact. Which is why Michael Oliver didn’t call the pen at first. Nevertheless, I think there is very light contact and with Rice’s foot clearly being swung between the leg, it’s very difficult to defend yourself through VAR. I think it would be criminal not to give the penalty but all I’m saying is I think I understand why it wasn’t given straight away. Declan rice waves his arms because he knows the fall to the ground wasn’t equal to the amount of contact made.

As a Gunner I thought we were lucky when Kulu was clipped by Trossard, sure he doesn't mean it but Kulu has the ball, fair enough if both players were off the ball. We got away with that one. Did they robbed bank? Or a business is bought to invest in the business or not?. Imagine allowing me to buy a business n coming with a rule that says I can't invest money into that business outside the gains that the business might have made. For me, the rule shd be "Don't sell any club in England anymore. If u can't manage it, good luck to u". It's NOT match fixing allegations, other clubs spent a lot also, only point is City spent from the investor's fund-as alleged. And that is not the reason others who spent a lot can't achieve like City. It's like saying we invested similar effort into business but u are more successful only bc of the charges.

It’s not rocket science: City, a small mid table club with no worldwide presence, have managed to dominate year on year. It obviously doesn’t make sense.

Arsenal are definitely improving but still need a few additions in key areas if they are to win the league. A midfield partner for Rice, a quality LB, a true number 9 and maybe a goalkeeper.
