He’s a delight man. Linguistically, he has an innate ability to capture the emotional investments we all hold in football. I also really appreciate the due diligence he does to make sure that what he does express, isn’t riddled with bias and knee-jerk reaction like a lot of punditry elsewhere. His words are always centred with reason and a real comprehension of the game. He gives credit when it dues and pays homage to a plethora of players and teams that most people don’t take the time to understand. I’m intrigued to see where he aspires to be within the football-media space in a few more years. Wishing him every success and joy.

@dlaw11314 сағат бұрын
My friend Arteta should be blame for all these players dropping form. The guy doesn't know how to manage the players. I can 100% tell you, whether anyone believe it or not Odegaard isn't still fit, Arteta instructed the medics to inject and rush him back cuz he was running out of it without him. The guy lack bravery and wants to win trophies, he got quality academy players who are ready to play and don't want to trust them; he as well signed players and don't trust the players he signed. Kiwior has not been up to the level he should be because Arteta don't trust him, all players need confidence and trust from their manager, but Arteta don't have it. Once Arteta starting 11 firing he's okay, soon injury gets in he's confused and does silly things that affect the squad. Injury is part of the game, you can hide behind it, if we even signed another 11 on the bench, it will be the same cuz Arteta wouldn't rotate them and once the rest keep sitting on the bench, they wouldn't do better. He will soon rush Saka back let's watch and see, he as well play these players out of positions and not all players can adapt to different positions easily. He changes system all times, the system that had the squad been one of the best attacking team in Europe the past seasons, he changed it now and all we seen is relying on set pieces. The dude is clueless still need to learn alot about management. He's a good coach but not a good manager.

No confidence was destroyed, you saw those Arsenal players really push Villa hard today. The problem is injuries and poor form in front of goal. That's what has hit Arsenal hard this season. - I pray Liverpool do not sell Elliot. He rarely featured after coming back from his long-term injury, but he is still very effective in killing low block opponents. He should have come in at half-time. - Diaz is skillful, but he is not physical enough to spearhead Liverpool's attack against a physical team like Brentford. Slot should have started Nunez, as he is physically stronger. Diaz is more suitable against opponents the likes of Arsenal and Everton. - All in all, it was a hard-earned win, and every player deserves a pat on his back for pushing hard till the end.

Serious question, out of all his time at Liverpool, how many seasons has he just completely dropped off the second half?
@JoseNajar-wd6ff4 сағат бұрын
@ that’s what I’m looking into now, every season where Liverpool were in the title race under Klopp, Salah’s numbers and performances take a DRATSIC drop in output/quality. Take last season as a perfect example, and we’re now starting to see signs right now when Liverpool NEED him to step up.
@JoseNajar-wd6ff4 сағат бұрын
@ look at the spread of his goal contributions during the 23/24 and 21/22 season found on transfer market. These were the last two title races Klopp was involved in and we see a MASSIVE drop off our output following Boxing Day. It is a FACT that Salah doesn’t show up for his team in the business end of the season. This is why I will always argue De Bruyne is the better premier league player of OUR generation… that brother always shows up around this time of year.

Arsenal had two leftbacks and a left center back on the bench who are no worse than Tsimikas. Arteta could have played one of them and put Timber at rightback. Timber was also a center back before he came to Arsenal and he is no worse than Gomez and def better than Quansah. Arteta has as many midfielders as Liverpool who cost a lot more than Liverpools’, and they were available. Four out of the five preferred attackers were available. All the whining about injuries and depth are just all over the top and every pundit and podcasters seems to just blindly copy it. Sure it is hard that Saliba missed a couple of games, but Liverpool have been without one of their preferred center back pairing a lot more often. Missing Odegard first and now Saka is tough, but Arteta himself made the team completely dependent on those two being available at the same time, preferring to bring in a slew of center backs and defensive midfielders. They have enough players available, but simply failed to put together a balanced squad.
