Well you can't base the argument off of trophies in the cabinet because both managers have won major honours. Honestly Klopp is class and Arsene respectfully just overstayed which I think a spoils it for a lot of people. IMHO he did it out of a sense of duty the club was essentially broke getting absolutely raided. At least he stayed to continue to deliver a semblance of consistency. That being said idk how Arsenal built a stadium and it ruined them for 20 years. Tottenham built a more expensive stadium and they stayed the same.

They have won the league 19 times and could equal United's 20 Title record THIS Season. Arsenal haven't won the league in 18 Years. Liverpool have won the European Cup 6 times and been to 9 Finals! As well as winning the Uefa Cup 3 times and been to finals again. Arsenal Have been to 1 CL Final and lost it, and have also lost their last 3 finals in the Uefa Cup and Cup winners cup when that existed. They haven't won a European trophy since 1994! nearly 30 years. Plus they haven't even qualified for the Champions League since 2016 and since then Liverpool has been to 2 finals winning 1 of them! Ty banging on about a period in 30s is stupid. Huddersfield did the same thing and Liverpool have won back-to-back titles in their time too. Including the 1920s before Herbert Chapman era lol and they won it 3 years in a row 1982-84. And they have won the League 9 Times! Apart from the FA Cup there is nothing Arsenal have done that Liverpool hasn't match or bettered! As for the Invincibles, the argument would Ty would rather they hadn't won the League in 18 years, or that the 2004 team had lost 1 game but Arsenal was on 19 titles and in a title race THIS SEASON!

But, 2000/01 they had quite a good team finished 3rd & got a treble albeit a poor man's treble this is around the time they had a BallonDor winner in their squad and they came 2nd in 2001/02 with 80pts which back then people would say could be enough to win the league and they expected to push on from there so at the start of 2002/03 Liverpool were made favourites by many so called experts. They failed miserably in both PL (finished outside top4) & CL (exited in 1st round group stage) so only because of that people look back now and say actually no Liverpool on paper didn't have a good team during that time. Just to hype up Gerrard for anything he achieved like when they still won the league cup that season with him scoring (Owen with the other) but he did also score an O.G in a final they lost people don't talk about and they were expected to beat WestHam in FAcup 2006 and they were Scaloni foolish unnecessary fair play away from losing that final. They went the next 12 seasons only winning 1 league cup vs a lower league team. He lost other finals CL 2007, FAcup 2012 & his mistake cost them PL title 2014. I honestly think he would've flopped at a bigger club and would be quickly back at Liverpool his comfort zone where he can do no wrong pressures off, local boy loved no matter what, if he loses well "they have a bad team" if he wins he's the captain behind it, whenever there was pressure when he was close to a PL title he bottled it. He always bottled it for England a squad that on paper should've done so much better and in fact singlehandedly knocked his own team out of several competitions. He made that fatal backpass a trademark of his. I don't know any "world class" players who've made that sort of howler more than once, if he is world class he's the only one who's done that multiple times and it's not just multiple times he's done it 5 times!
