They need to make an XL version with a third step. In its collapsed position, it's the same packable size as other sticks, and with the added benefit of being able to climb a lot higher in the tree with the same number of sticks.

As a machinist myself there are different grades of machining from China just like any country but it’s hard to match a USA non union tool room with precision and quality not many countries match up and China is not one of them… I will say these are definitely USA tool maker price point doesn’t matter what level of China machining you get to it’s way cheaper than here at home i really thought all their products were American machined it’s actually why I bought them… filming the unboxing tomorrow but still gonna let the performance talk and the rest walk as always I am stoked to get into saddle hunting!

At 15:13 of your video you can clearly see the flex of the weak spot of the stick ,(the push pin) theres no way that outer shaft of the stick doesnt bend outwards creating slop between the two over time, its a hard no for me, hopefully im wrong about them ,great review as always
@MichiganGreatOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Yes it does bow in, I brought that up with the creators and they explained that there is a derilin sleeve inside that extends many inches past the seperation point as well as the titinium tube extends past the joint several inches. Time will tell if this is a faulty design or not

I'm a saddle hunter for years now. However, I'm not the tallest and lean person, and I'm 60-plus years old. I would like them to be more flexible with someone short. As you stated in the video, with that price per stick. I would love to purchase 3 if it would lock at 13 inches or at 15 inches or at least customize per request.

Well, 140 a stick, made in China, right by the end of the video you can see it flexed badly at the extension locking pin. Great review, not a great product in my eyes, but you really work at your reviews, love that. Why aren't you selling those shirts? Very Nice!!

Yeah they arent cheap thats for sure, if you buy a 3 pack you can get them for $116 each. Thats the only way to go IMO.

@pathfinder5804 Жыл бұрын
I don’t like the china thing but I do understand it. These are very pricey as it is so you could probably add another 1/3 to 1/2 again more for them being US made. I’ll gladly pay more for American made but there is a limit. Like the idea for sure though. Their platform is awesome!!!

Great honest review man, thanks! I ran these sticks all last year and put them through hell to test during development and they work today just as good as they did then. Buried them in snow and mud and didn't take it easy on them. They are the best sticks I've ever used and I'm happy to run them exclusively now. When you have the right network of people in China you can get excellent quality, you can tell in the machining. Or US toolroom would not be able to match that quality to be completely honest and the price of that stick would be more than double. They really are great sticks.
@MichiganGreatOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Dude! How did yall keep this quiet?? Good job on that. Im pretty pumped to beat the hell out of these this season along with my custom gear sticks.
@MV-Innovations Жыл бұрын
It was so hard to keep it quiet! Especially when you see everyone out there buying up new stuff knowing you're about to change the game with these products. We worked so hard on these products and had rigorous testing to make sure they were what they needed to be. Kept adding new features and improving because we refused to launch products until they were perfected. The past 2+ years of hard work and innovation show in the quality of the gear! We appreciate you taking the time to do an unbiased review of the sticks.
