Luv luv luv the idea!!!! I’ve learned a lot over the yrs what’s important to me stand and saddle hunting. Weight is #1 for me. However the system compatibility of a LWCG double step paired with any LWCG stand is worth the extra couple ounces. I run the Latitude Carbon SS sticks and for the money you can’t beat them in my mind. $600+ for 4 sticks becomes cost prohibiting!!!! For a marginal few ounces either of the other 2 are better options still at this point. There’s not enough advantage to me to see the value. However if moneys not an issue and I am a believer buy once cry once these are top of the line!!!!! You won’t find better stick setup alone for sure. What I like better then the latitude sticks I have is they stack better. The LWCG sticks stack even better though. These are an upgrade in my mind from the timber ninjas but very cost prohibitive. If you do what I did though and bought a first set found out quickly I wanted something different and the carbon ss’s came out and I bought them and luv them. However $250 for first set $325 for second set and hey pretty much have the tree sticks now don’t ya. Again great review of a super cool product!!!!!!

Carbon fiber tube, hasn't been done before, built in aider and amsteel rope and under 1 lbs weight, hasn't been done before specially on an 18" step to step stick. I get what you are saying a stick is a stick but at the end of the day no other stick on the market has these features all included under 1 pound. Id say these are innovative in that aspect.
@Brian-R2 ай бұрын
@@MichiganGreatOutdoorsAmsteel rope, built in aiders, carbon is more like different than innovative imo. My LW sticks have had amsteel on em for like at least ten years now. Pretty sure there was at least one other stick that has built in aiders that just tuck up in the tube. Brand escapes me as there are so many now i can’t keep up. But whether you call it innovation or just different than others at what cost does it come to the consumer to simply use different materials for minimal gain? I did buy some Latitude sticks that are virtually just as light (3 oz more per stick), use amsteel, and pack super compact. I think i paid like $300 for the 4? So a little less than double what i bought my OG LW sticks for new. Seems like a reasonable increase for a drastically different stick that weigh less than half what the LW weigh and pack down to half the bulk of the LW. The only question will be there longevity. So jump ahead only year to these sticks. They’re only 3oz lighter than Latitude sticks, both use carbon or carbon composite, both use amsteel, i actually think the latitude pack nicer/more compactly. 1 year Warranty for these vs 5 year Warranty for the Latitude. But the price jump for such minimal gain in weight savings is more than double in only a year. Idk man i think that’s crazy.

You think hes price gouging or, does the cost reflect in the manufacturing costs?
@Brian-R2 ай бұрын
Probably a little bit of both? No other way these prices are getting so insane. $700-$800 just for the sticks is absurd and it seems the ceiling is raised significantly every year. Not very long ago (15 years or so) LW sticks were the best and 4 cost like $175, $200 for the stand so you were all in for under $400 for the best at the time. Then LWCG raised the bar to $500 for 4 sticks within the last 2-3 yrs. Now here we’ve reached an all new ceiling only a couple years later. $250 per stick and $1000 stands ($2000 total) will be here in 2-3 years at this rate. My son is 11 is he going to have to spend $7K for bow, stand, sticks, binos, clothes one day? Talk about a barrier to entry we are going in the wrong direction if we want to keep hunting alive brother.
