Yep!! This window is dangerously close to turning into disaster unless big things happen tomorrow. I like califiori and merino but they were probably our 2 most stacked positions. We now need a striker, cover for saka, a 2nd choice keeper and now even cover for odegaard as strangely they let ESR and Vieira go in the same window. If odegaard is injured we have no natural cam really. Maybe haverts or trossard but with jesus injured and martinelli poor form they are needed elsewhere currently.

Martinelli is not an intelligent footballer. That is not something you can change, he plays on instinct and his danger is his pace. That first season we finished second he was brilliant because we caught teams by surprise and they weren’t sitting in. Without space to run in behind he isn’t capable of beating man or picking out a good ball. Technique isn’t there. Bayern second leg sealed it for me

Lois openda is a good player but he is not a elite striker who can score 25+ goals per season . We have kai who can score 10-15 goals in Premier league and openda is in that category . Arteta and the board should look for elite striker option and this could be the difference between 90 and possible 95 points .
