Sterlings pace can absolutely rip that high line apart. Martinelli is also very quick, but sterling is a better dribbler and finisher. Bringing Martinelli on at about the 70th minute, after sterling has tired them out would be a killer to that spurs defence.

Hello lads. Spurs fan here. I'm quite confident of a 3-1 Spurs win. Goals by Solanke, Maddison and Son (pen). However, unlike many others, including yourselves, I don't think Arsenal will sit back and invite us on. I get the feeling that they'll try to go toe to toe and will be more open than people think. I think Arteta will include Sterling on the left with Saka on the right and will try to exploit their pace to keep Porro and Udogie pegged back, and it's that Sterling-Porro match-up that concerns me quite considerably. In midfield, you'll be playing with Havertz or Trossard ahead of Partey and Jorginho. Experienced they may be, but do they have the legs or the pace you need?

Mikel will not start Ethan Nwaneri in a NLD. It is too big of a risk for both the player (due to his tender age) and the club. We are no longer in the Wenger's era whereby the senior squad is occupied by youngsters from the academy. Today, we have 2 senior players in every position. In particular, after the major revamp this summer by selling and loaning out Nketiah, Nelson, Emile, Ramsdale and Fabio Vieira. Currently, the club's recruitment policy is to sell the fringe and academy players to make way for proven players. Occasionally, prodigies like Nwaneri might be given a chance,. But not when they have other senior players in their senior squad to rely on. In my opinion, Raheem Sterling might be deployed in Odagaard's role in this NLD. If he oerforms up to expectation, you might see him i. This role against Manchester City next weekend as well.
