Charles , on your point around minute 10:00 . I fully agree , I see many fans online calling for Ethan to start but as you say , Mikel knows best ! You mentioned the data and such but i´m thinking about the psychological element , Mikel was literally the same age when he started his career in PsG . Mikel knows how it feels to be a promising young player and is the BEST manager Ethan could ask for . ONE OF OUR OWN

This was definitely the most balanced we have played this season. Reminded me of the second half of last season where we just never looked like conceding against anyone and looked like by half time we’d blow the other team away. That right side still worries me though. Any one of them get injured and we go back 3 steps again. Something Arteta and the staff need to make strong contingencies for. Nwaneri can take a few minutes from the Captain to give him a rest but we don’t have anyone right now to replace Timber or Saka as White won’t come back until maybe Feb.

Hi Charles, great content as always. Loved yesterday’s performance, they were all playing with a bit of a swagger which was great to see. Got no problem with how Nwaneri is being managed, look what happened to Patino when he was rushed into first team football without a proper introduction. He was clearly talented but thrown in too soon and we barely saw him again. Nwaneri looks like an amazing prospect, reminds me of Wilshere or Santi when he’s on the ball. Also loved Timber’s performance. The way he was underlapping (as opposed to White’s normal overlapping) during the first half in particular, forced Saka to take his man on the outside and he had Moreno on toast all game. Shows what the team can do when they’re all fit, looked like they were all having a lot of fun out there yesterday!

Jesus scores yesterday and he's at least a 7 or an 8. Partey and Martinelli were getting stick early doors. We're blessed to have so many good players, I just wish our fans would stop abusing them online

A Odegaard makes a big difference to our play. Yesterday was the Odegaard and Saka show. In the first half, when the ball was in the right half space we looked like we will score everytime
@vdkotechaСағат бұрын
I know we scored two goals in the 2nd half to the one in the first, but I felt we were much more on the from foot in the 1st half, compared to the 2nd. It may have been by design because we were in front but I was much less confident as Forest seemed to be more of a threat.

Hi Charles, The interesting thing about that Jorginho performance... is that I started thinking of him as someone who needs to play with Rice (to make up for his lack of athleticism)... Clearly having x2 fullbacks that are defensively strong might be good enough it seems. Hope we see him more. Also, I'm quite surprised how high up Merino is always playing. I thought of him as more defensive-minded when he joined... but he is full-on box-to-box. Arguably makes Jorginho's performance even more impressive.
@naseibonsu81202 сағат бұрын
🔴 I agree with Charles assertion here. Jorginho was outstanding yesterday and has been under used along with Zinchenko, i've been saying it for a while now. We definitely look more fluid when Jorginho or Partey play the 6. More smoother, quicker passes. Vertical passes and just better control overall. Best performance of the season so far by the team. Now we need to build, brick by brick and go on a long run. One game at a time. Nwaneri is a special talent, he is hungry and I would like to see more of him. He can make a big difference for us in this race. 🔴

Hi Charles , yes perhaps they could have scored another one or two goals but I think they new they had to win and 3-0 was great. To me it was solid and had a great feeling to it. It was real to see trossard playing so well again and I honestly believe we haven’t seen the best of yet once he gets back in the groove. Also of cause well done the manager he is up there with the bast and has handled himself so well when the pressure was on. This game was so so important and loads of pressure great job to all 10/10 to me. Jon

If Saka world class goal didn't go in it would have been a talking point as he should have passed it Hope Newanyeri gets his game time as there is too much pressure on Odegaard also we need to manage Saka but yeah brilliant game great win We need to keep it. Up move Up

Why didn't Jota get a yellow card for picking up the ball and throwing it away when he conceded a free kick?? I bet if one of the Arsenal players did it then it would definitely have been a yellow.

Top class performance from odegaard but I would not say world class. I know some would say the stat does not have to show to be world class which I get. Odegaard is a freestyle baller the ones you play with in fifa which he oozes the fans, but also does unessary things and not simple like holding the ball longer and not shooting. One instance in the second half the team was in good position but kept passing and did not take a shot which arteta was mad,Just be ruthless and clinical. I love the bold selection and the subs we made.

It’s normal for us all to want to see Ethan play more. But as Arsenal fans we should also remember what can happen when u overplay young players. Wilshere is unfortunately the best example for that. We have a player here that can become absolutely world class. Let’s give him the time to reach that level. He’s just 17. He can play for another 20 years.
@tonyhenryvii920215 минут бұрын
Let the young man step up,even if he has a hiccup or two.Odegaard the general,Melino best game. so far. & Star Boy is just that.

On Nwaneri's minutes this season, when you try and defend why Arteta might be being cautious with him people always point to Yamal. But they never mention two other Barca players - Gavi and Pedri. From what I understand both played a lot as youngsters and have had injury issues ever since. Need to be careful and do what's best for the long term of the player.

Hi Charles, hope your having a lovely Sunday, Wanted to ask you if you saw that Hudson Odoi challenge on Saliba late on in 2nd half. That could've been a leg breaker for Saliba, from what it looked like Saliba was fine afterwards but do you have any update?

I think a 6 for Jesus is way too harsh. We looked as silky yesterday as we did two seasons ago and a lot of that had to do with Jesus' link up play with both Saka and Ødegaard.
@jonrend3 сағат бұрын
Do you think Martenelli was dropped or just rested after going on international duty? I would still start him on the left wing over Trossard everytime. Partey was levels above Jorginho when he came on. He was removed because he would have likely been sent off in the 2nd half because of his pace.

I think Arsenal could recreate the same magic they have on the right with Martin Odegaard with Matheus Cunha on the left. I don't think Merino gives the team the spark on the left, he looks like an upgraded Fabio viera to me.

No one seems to want to discuss the elephant in the room. Rice and Havertz are most negative players by a mile. Especially Rice he's lack of vertical passing, goal threat at the 8 really hurts this team. We lack the fluidity we have with Jorginho and obviously having Odegaard return helps immensely. Out of possession Rice is elite, world class even but he dwells on the ball. Slow to make decisions and side to side backwards hurts the fluidity of the team. He's game is extremely limited.

I agree 💯 I've been saying this for a while now. Especially with Rice but people dont want to admit it.

My main concern is how to survive all of these financial and political crisis, especially in light of the US political power scuffle. The government has really called things more difficult for its citizens, and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of the bad governance.
