Hi Charles, keep up the good work. Question: what would be your preferred three realistic signings which can take us to winning the EPL trophy?
@jellybelly100jellyvision724 минут бұрын
Ramsdale should command a fee as close to 60m as possible. Man United bought Onana for 58m and Rambo is twice the keeper Onana is. Not only that, but he’s a home grown and a young English player who normally get the English tax added onto a fee.

strong words from Aaron, sure. But if he isn't willing to take a pay cut to make a move happen that's on him. I doubt all the decent keepers who have sat on Chelsea, Liverpool or City's benches over the years have loved being 2nd choice either

Hey Charles, What is your thought on Alvaro Morata having a 12m release clause ...would you like to trigger it and give him a one year contract and then sign isak or Sesko for next summer ?

Saying that Raya coming in was the right decision baffles me when he’s had less to do than any other keeper in the Premiership. As we all know that is thanks to the finest football defence in the world in front of him. Would I be wrong saying that Ramsdale wouldn’t have had just as good a run of clean sheets but also kept Villa to no goals as he’s a better keeper and we’d have won the league? When saves are required next season I do hope you’re right but I’ll reserve judgement till he’s done something.

Even if nelson stays you have to buy a winger we are trying to elevate if making top 4 is the remit then keep nelson but if you want to win the prem over city you have to upgrade nelson never plays looool whats the point of keeping players that dont play then we have to watch saka get run into the ground again 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️

Completely agree with you on Martinelli Charles. The one thing that I might add though, is that he doesn't seem to have the efficiency that Saka does. Saka can have a quiet game but pop up with a goal or assist. For Martinelli I keep thinking back to our home game v Seville where he destroyed their right back, beating him 9 times but didn't get a goal or assist, or even particularly look like it. Saka has probably never dribbled past a full back 9 times in a game but he only needs to once or twice to produce something. I think and hope that is something Martinelli will develop.

Hello Charles, thank you for the great content. My question is why don't Arsenal go for Ivan Toney? He's tried and tested in the prem level and could be a 20+ Goal striker.

Players within the squad all wanting to play regularly cannot logically happen. A squad should have around 24 senior players with only 11 starting (7 or 8 undroppable to maintain chemistry) and 5 as main rotation players. The rest won't have enough gametime and if u fill these spots with low quality players then the squad overall will decline and will look vulnerable.

My only issue with Martinelli is his end product in front of goal. No doubt he has pace to burn but just like Walcott, he flies down the field but then fluffs it in front of goal.

Ramsdale and Nelson are both fringe players because of Arteta. No wonder they want to leave and Raya hasn’t improved us, Ramsdale would’ve been just as good. We should boot Raya and our GK coach back to Brentwood.

I loved Kevin Campbell...was there anyone better to comment on football?. he brought so much joy and a genuine smile to whatever he was doing. A sad tragic loss reminding us that all this football means very little. We enjoy it of course but it's people and life that should drive us. Premier League, money, transfers trophies even Arsenal is second to what makes it special. Men and players like super king Kevin Campbell brings pure joy and happiness. Plus he was one of the very few Arsenal players to win the league. A cup double and a European trophy. God bless you kevin.😞😞😞😞❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Charles, sure you've seen reports that Arsenal made an official inquiry to Everton on Onana. Everton want £50m+@. I think he will be a great addition for that price given that he can cover both no.6 and no.8 and Arsenal do have actual interest in him. Financial situation of Everton will also help. But one thing that kind of bothers me is there might be a chance that Everton are using Arsenal's interest in order to put pressure on Man Utd buying Branthwaite. Reports came out half a day later when Man Utd made their first bid to Everton.

The people saying yes to £100ml Martinelli have clearly forgotten that Mudryk was £80ml. Invest in the squad? By spending more on someone else? It doesn’t make sense. Keep. Keep. Keep. We already need a winger. We’ll sell Martinelli, and we definitely need 2.
@adrianlink4806 сағат бұрын
Why are the English more concerned with winning something with English players instead of building the best squad to consistently win trophies. Ramsdale and ESR should be sold.
@craigetherington7056 сағат бұрын
Love Ramsdale, but unless the right offer comes in, he stays as the 2nd option. If we can’t get at least what we paid for him, we are always going to struggle to sell and it’s going to sound to the rest of clubs buying from Arsenal that we are push overs. Potential England number 1, excellent keeper, good distribution, good shot stopper, long contract. If that doesn’t command top money I don’t know what does. Alternatively, With Raya being close to 30 I would even not mind seeing Ramsdale go on loan for a seasons or two and then come back and push Raya.

Reiss Nelson learning that loyalty isn't rewarded. he could have moved instead of signing a new contract. H would have been playing regularly at a less competitive club and may also have produced the form regularly that he showed glimpses of in his Arsenal career.
