Also DG I’ve watched Netherlands closely for the whole euros and I was waiting for Simmons to show me himself in midfield particularly in that left hand side where we want a box to box 8 he’s defensively more sound than someone like Smith-Rowe,Eze and arguably better offensively as well today against Romania he was world class tackles passes dribbling through to break the defensive line time and time again I feel like this guy alongside rice and captain Ødeegard would thrive not saying he’d play every single game because there will be games we need that deep lying playmaker and rice instead of rice and him but signing him for the midfield the wing and potentially he can play as a centre forward it’s been a no brainer for me for the past 2 years to get this guy especially if it’s just a loan this season and hopefully we can sign him permanently after

@@TJay96 Newcastle asked for 115 and even still I’d take him over gyokeres at the end of the day it isn’t really about price it’s about experience and quality he’s shown he can be world class in a team like Newcastle no disrespect to them but we have a far better team and manager
