Love the point about Arteta looking at the measure of the man first, and that has contributed greatly to the mentality and culture of the club. We had players at the club that just wanted to cash a cheque and weren't willing to do any work beyond what it takes to get paid. However, now we can look at the footballer first because we have a solid set of leaders that would not accept anything less than 100%. We need a level raiser. We need world beaters. And getting the right footballer can get us over the line, and I trust that the culture that Mikel has installed at the club will rub off on any incoming players.

Man City have 4-6 World class players. When do you think Arteta and Edu will get us our 1st? Enough with players who can do a job instead of getting the job done. Highest ticket price in Europe yet pretend were cash strapped, 0 pressure to deliver Major honors. We are the biggest bottlejobs when it comes to selling players. Oxlaide Chamberlain and Iwobi are the only 2 good ones I can remember. If the Club don't upgrade at least 2-3 players in our first 11 it's clear money is their only objective.

And also just cos social media doesn't think we have world class players, doesn't make it true. Rivals just will never pass up the opportunity to have a dig at us. We have arguably the best CB partnership in Europe, Saliba is on course to be the best CB in the world. Decs is top 3 in his position, I'm talking as a 6, cos I'd prefer a more natural 8. KDB is passing the torch of best midfielder in the to Odegaard. And Saka, is only 22 and already putting numbers that most vets would dream of.

The telling point last season was both games against Bayern. Fans would have been a lot happier playing Timber or a Calafori rather than Kivior, zinni or Tomiyaso so it's a positive upgrade on what we have.

A nice panel, where the individuals have credible purpose of having discussions based on genuine football knowledge. About Calafiori, I think given his age, ability on the ball and in addition to his defensive ability, he is already better than Zinchenko and Kiwior. I am still not sold on Kiwior. His inability to recognize, he had to make a tactical foul on Mane during the Bayern first leg, turned the tie against us, when we seemed to be cruising. Calafiori is a great opportunity signing. We should try for him.

Pep has made everyone believe that a DM must be a perfect passer of the ball and scoring goals like Rodri. A DM should protect the defence and connect the midfield by passing as safe as possible. DM’s primary responsibility is not to create chances or score goals. Although, they score and assist once in a while

Timber is right sided dunno why Arsenal fans keep saying we have him for left. We've seen with England the limitations a right footed left back can bring. And at Arsenal we have 2 right footed left wingers too, so its even more so. Weve gotta get that left side functioning more next season, and a better balance Kiwior is ok but can be improved upon, Zinchenko has to go Tomiyasu and Timber on left are ok backup options but as the starter we need a natural left footer Sheroy how can you be confident on Timber to left when hes played only 2 or 3 games there since joining? Its not enough evidence. All of his football for Ajax was right centre back or right back We need a left back option as a priority, along with a midfielder and forward player, all 3 are musts Also on Califiori to me he looks more of an Arteta player than Gabriel, much more comfortable on ball, so if he came i also wouldn't rule him out of taking that role. But he could do similar to what Ake and Gvardiol do for Man City as a left back in my opinion

Because Rice can tackle people think he's a Gilberto Silva when he's a Patrick Vieira. We have been spoiled with technical 8's like Fabregas and Cazorla so when a classical 8 like Rice appears we don't know what to do with him.
