Arteta is the legend who figured out exactly how to get the best out of Xhaka. He simple played him in his best position as a box to box midfielder like he’s does for Switzerland. Which is why he’s always looked better playing for his country. So simple yet so effective not even Wenger clocked this as every manager since the MIGHTY WENGER has always played Xhaka as a defensive midfielder which he’s never been!

I agree. Football is an infinite game, the only thing matters are the reaction we give to the events we are going through. This young squad gave the most powerful reaction and learned from their mistakes. And this is fantastic that they learned that. Whatever happens next they will bounce back right there and then. The team spirit has become the greatest strength to harness this year in the tough moments. This is a process to get there and the project has come to the most exciting chapter because they went through all of this.

Arteta is an absolute G.. He flipped the mind state of that locker room in a few honest words, and brought instant positivity back into the hearts of our men. What a lucky team we are to have him, and as individuals to have someone to look up to, that has your back at all times, to talk about issues on and off the pitch in times of difficulty, makes more of a best friend or family type senior. We should have won that game. Was never a penalty... Refs were poor and inconsistent. Ironically, there was a similar incident (worse pulling of the shirt) and it wasn't given as the player was already going to ground.

I watched the game live on TV and felt the same way with Arteta about the game. In much part of the game, we have diffused City's way of play. I was talking to my United friends yesterday about the game and wanted to say their loss to us reminded me of this last second loss to City. There are some differences and in the end I didn't say it as I felt it would be getting ahead of myself but I feel the similarites again when I hear Arteta encourage them after.
