The sooner Arsenal fans realise Arteta doesn't really focus on positions and more on roles, the easier it will be to digest. Players are supposed to naturally rotate into areas on the pitch e.g. Declan, hes not going to just stay in 6, he will push at times with deceptive runs into the 8/10 area and someone else will drop in.

Yes football has changed so much over the last 20 years, now it's all inverted full backs and rotation etc. It's not so rigid to say this players plays in this position etc.

If we're facing lesser opponents at home where we're expected to attack then zinchenko would most likely start, against the bigger teams either timber or califori would be more suited

I disagree trossard is not even a winger. And Martinelli stretches the field gives us an option for long balls. Martinelli also a decent finisher. He has scored 15 goals a season no pens. U all act as if he is finished

I don’t disagree but Martinelli offers pace we don’t have anywhere else on the pitch. Of all our attacking players he provides the ability to stretch opponents and play wide. If we have Zinny inverting or carrying down the middle of the pitch we need someone to keep the defense wide on the left like White does on the right.

It became obvious to me halfway through last season that Rice as a 6 is superb from a defensive view point but his natural game on receiving the bal is not to play a progressive pass and that’s where Partey is much better

Calafiori would be a better left-back cause he's someone who is strong and durable But I know zinchenko for his attacking qualities he's technical and fast but not the best when defending against wingers # CALAFIORI 👍👌

Arteta is not looking for a back up for Saka; he’s looking for a competitor for Saka. Raphinha or Sane would be competitors for Saka. PS: Martinelli is poor on the right side ie anonymous. Jesus on the right is much better

Zinny is one of the major reasons we didn’t win the EPL last season. Rice can’t do everything what is this bald 👨‍🦲 head talking about, Rice isn’t better than Partey for fucc sake. Partey’s only drawback is the injury and now that we’ve gotten rid of the Doctor that went to Man United you can see that they’re having the same injury crisis we used to have. We need to stop underrating Trossard he saved us many times last year.

@@JoshuaGuevara7 They are not better players. My eleven is full of tricks, skill moves, tiki taka pass, through pass, silky/tekky touches/close control, full of players with possession loving mindset. My team is a lot more technical and creative on the ball.
