My thoughts about Nketiah are essentially "lets wait and see" He is undoubtedly a talent , but one that comes with a risk with such a high fee. Without the expectations he has previously had , we might see him bloom with our attack. So if the deal comes off , i will remain hopeful rather than confident, but will certainly give him a chance.

The problem is the price not the player. Marseille + Palace both wanted him for £20m + add-ons because his record is 0.5 G/A per 90min (he had lots of junk min at Arsenal after Havertz arrived which diluted his G/A per Game stats). If he gets regular game time he’ll be 10 Goal / 10 Assist guy

This could be a big mistake and cost Forest a lot of money in new contracts with existing key players. He should get 80K plus 2K per goal scored. If he backs himself to get 20 goals then that will be no loss to him and no one would begrudge him the money. I worry that Wood will still be our number 1 striker and Nketiah will end up picking up 120K for a bunch of 15 minute cameos accross the season.

Errrr cuz Gimenez is as much a risk if not more.. He's only played n scored goals for a season n a half in a leage equivalent to bottom half championship. He's Mexican though, he must be good.... Nketiah was best U21 striker for England for ages, was capped last year for England full. If he goes Forest he'll quickly look the right fit and will offer far more than what's on show now. Just cuz Arteta doesn't play him so what. Everyone's a, reject when they're sold, Odegaard, Real reject, De Bruyne was a Chelsea reject as was Salah. Yes it's alot of walla, obvs ,football is a complete circus, but look at the prices going about..
