My first rifle i bought was a Tabuk Mk3 reissued, but it was hard to ship to US due to customs and licensing fees. I endup buying an Arsenal Sam7R and was quite pissed about leaving my gun with my pops back in Iraq. But i have to say, i never had to buy another again. 7 years with 4 days a week in the local range and still no jams because i treat it like an AR with maintenance, finish is an issue but the beat up look makes it quite OP in my eyes. I would recommend a thousand times.

So, we're comparing a Las Vegas built from parts kit Arsenal Sam7 vs. a foreign military produced milled Poly Legend? All rifles brought in after March 8th 1989 are post ban, and meet 992r compliance. The Las Vegas Arsenal website attempts to make it cloudy how they are brought in post ban as parts, and put back together. NO barreled receivers were brought into America after 1994, except for parts kits like the Arsenal SAM7.

My first AK-47 was an Arsenal SAM-7, but it was a rare lemon, and the barrel shot consistently to the left. The front sight had to be move 80% of the way to one side just to hit a target at 100 yards. When I got the Polytech Legend AK-47S, it shot a tighter group and consistently straight. It actually made ME look good as a shooter. And, I love the quality traditional blued finish. Not fair to compare only two rifles, since Arsenal quality is excellent, but I sold off that SAM-7 at a loss and kept the Polytech. I would buy the Arsenal AK-47 Classic, despite the high price, if I could find one. Arsenal never made enough of those rifles for those of use who want the traditional Model III AK rifle. Despite my bad experience with an older Arsenal rifle, I do recommend them because they are high quality.

William Wood...you heard wrong! Do some google research from "Battlefield Vegas" concerning milled and stamped AK and AKM variants. @DeepPocketsEnt3 жыл бұрын
No, you're incorrect. The original Avtomat Kalashnikova model 1947 was the Type 3, which was indeed a milled receiver rifle. A stamped version of the AK47 would not be released until 1959. The stamped receiver is made from a 1mm thick, flat sheet of steel and is known as the AKM, which would remain in Soviet service until 1974, when the AK74 was released.
