Expat Brit here from Southampton here, Rebecca, my family lost our house to the Santa Rosa Tubbs fire in 2017, and I really feel for those in LA atm. Losing everything you have collected, saved, treasured, and loved to a fire is the worst feeling ever. Thankfully we got our 4 year old son out, and that's all we had when we left. Football was one of the few things to give me some joy over the following year (yes, even Saints). My thoughts are with them. Btw, I love the show and you are a real star (along with the Weasel).

He was pretty accurate actually, he was dependable and consistent, but he never had the speed and recovery that Walker had, he never had the passing ability of TAA but he was positionally and organised much better than either, it's a question he can't win with, he's says he's the best he'll be called arrogant, and he's not wrong about Dennis Irwin either

Change the qualification so the fa cup gives a champions league place. Scrap extra time, penalties instead. get replays from the 4th to 5th round. Then switch to no replays and extra time. Limit subs to three. All pl teams have to play 4 academy players even up to the final.

I played soccer as a kid. But I also played baseball and basketball. One thing is most kids that are good athletes in the US play several sports then specialize as they get older. Soccer is usually one of the sports you drop here. When you get to high school where I was, almost no one played soccer still. The kids that did were generally the ones that weren't good enough for other sports. And no one watched the soccer games. All the glory was in other sports.

That's pretty much the same the world over outside of the US as well, but the other way around: most kids play soccer, basketball, hockey, etc., and drop basketball and the other sports to play soccer.
