No, when you spend millions upon millions on great players like Mustafi, Xhaka, Ozil, Sanchez (oh wait he left because he was unconvinced he'd win here like all the rest who went), Lacazette, Aubameyang, other good players like Koscielny Mkhi Cech Bellerin around them and you don't even put up a fight for the top 4 (lowering expectations as it was), it shows he was incapable of getting the best out of the players which is what cost him. He was never at fault. There were many issues with Arsenal as a whole after the club moved to Emirates. Not enough budget to spend on players, he had to constantly sell out players to buy new ones which deprived the club of experienced and established players. Also many players moved out seeing the lack of quality established players brought in due to the low budget. He was forced to groom players although it was part of his philosophy but I don't think he wanted his other players to leave but rather replace them eventually. He was the reason why arsenal constantly managed to reach the last 16 of CL football every single year except the last one. The owners, the board and the fans were too much demanding and dependent on him. Now with him gone all the issues with the club have come to light and it feels like a dream for Arsenal to win the PL. Atleast with him, we had the hope to win.
