I know the media have always been pretty harsh with Ozil, but he was especially underrated during that second part of the 14/15 season. Might not have had the crazy assist numbers of the following season, but after he came back from an injury lay off around February, he put in top quality performances and was doing God-like skills nearly every game. Outstanding recovery after basically being written off by a lot of people at the start of that season.

Well, I think Ozil is still a brilliant player. He honestly doesn't work in Emerys system well and hasn't started enough games this season because of Emery. I don't think the board is going to fire Emery either because of the awful final we've had so I personally want Ozil to leave to a club which he benefits from ( which would be a lot of clubs out there) except Emerys Arsenal. This whole talk about disgracing the badge is silly and all. If you actually saw the final, all the Arsenal starting line up gave up because of the tactics and the manager.

Also Auba scores a lot of goals but apart from that he isn't involved in link up play like Sanchez or Giroud. Emery's tactics rely heavily on fullbacks crossing the ball in from wide areas. So he doesn't really fit into Emerys system.
