It’s interesting that this game really turned on the legacy champs and is helping the newer generation. I guess old habits do die hard. I may be in the minority but I actually have been enjoying Tekken 8 much more than 7 as a whole. Both playing and watching.

T7 mechanics were more balanced. The defensive aspect is really lacking in T8

@@bobopatchnosuke229 not really. first tekken 7 had years to become optimized but you would still see people crying over it. tekken 8 is new it will get better with time and updates. secondly, u can always get ur lost health back by dealing damage. playing full defense and no health lost is ridiculous. looks at KOF XV not only u lose a bit of health defending but u also have Guard Crush

T8 mechanics is more friendly to players than previous tekken. Arslan can lose to players like Jakeman(King American player), and Jakeman isn't even close to the level of Arslan and Knee in terms of fundamentals like poking, punishing etc.
