If love had the answers why aren’t you here? This truth as an obsession had almost disappeared But when I see you alone far away from home and I wonder why I feel like everything is turning in my head It’s you again Taken by the unknown Heart into stone Never cease to wonder why and everything keeps turning in my head It’s you again This solitude I found No more voices ringing in my ears A world without a sound Just the silent music of the spheres If I had the answers you should be here (And still this unresolved progression had never seemed so real) But when I see you alone far away from home and I wonder why I feel like everything is turning in my head It’s you again Taken by the unknown Heart into stone Never cease to wonder why and everything keeps turning in my head It’s you again

I feel the same way. But it's bettersweet for me. I got hooked on the Soundscapes channel, by always putting it on for my pets when I would go to work, and listening to it at night myself. This song was my favorite. And one of my two dogs was a rescue from a puppy mill, and so super skittish his whole life, every little bit of trust he learned took a long time. Then in early October he passed away at 11, after a sudden illness. So it took me months to be able to listen to this song again after that, without crying, it reminded me of Kelly so much. I finally can listen to it, but like I said is bettersweet.

Why do I want to cry? Thanks to sleeping to soundscape, I'm absolutely in love with this song. This is my first time seeing the video. The person who held your heart was as cold as ice..And to travel the disparaging cold, you had to break your way through the pain. You ..walking in stride through the pain to face the reality, of the cold heart that captured your being, and left you to break through the ice, all alone. And one capturing your heart to hold yourself within your hand, realized, that you exist, and the fable, is just that.. a fable. Sorry lost hearts. Love your music!

I was a bit confused by the video too at first, untill i actually read the explanation by Kitty Von-Sometime. After that i watched it again (and again and..) and it became more and more clear.. there is so much symbolism and beauty in this piece! By the way :she actually found her own heart (not 'his') again in that icesculpture, that represents more then 'just' a sculpture: it represents her in a way.. The song well, what can i say? I've said it before: i love it. And than a bit more. There are no words for it, i can't find them anyway. Beautiful is definitely one of them but it would only be the beginning! ( > The 'top of the iceberg' so to speak ;) There are so many beautiful songs but lets be honest: to most i only listen. You hear the words, you might understand the lyrics or love the music but something is still missing.. I feel this one, and therefore it became very special to me, one of those very rare songs that i hope i´ll still be listening to 20 years from now, and it will still mean as much as it does now.. because it can get you through a tough day or change your mood or give you just that little ´push´ that you need to do something about whatever it is that you need to change, a bit of strength, love, hope etc, > whatever it is you need at that moment and that's something that only those rare, special songs have the power to do.
@jtalbot3410 жыл бұрын
Thank you! As I watched it it immediately grabbed my attention and as she walked to the sculpture and fell to her knees I began to cry as I see so much of me in this video.. It perfectly describes my current situation in my marriage.. I've been completely frozen for a long time and my head being turned in every direction so much so I wasn't sure if I existed anymore as a real person.. Between my family and my husband the last 9 years has been rough! I always feel like just as I'm about to discover myself again my head is turned into another direction as if I give more to everyone else around me than I give to myself and my heart... I hope to recover my heart one day too.. The dress, the makeup, the scene, the sculpture, the pain, the hardship, and the victory was just breathtaking! The symbolism is so spot on and meaningful! What a great video and song! 😊

@@alegriart it sounds like you 'failed' to let the music be the feature as well, considering you can only focus on 'seeing a transvestite'. Everyone processes things differently. Reading descriptions and explainstions from the artist can help some people digest and process the music in different and sometimes deeper ways. But you stay living in your small-minded bubble.
@theprincess740005 жыл бұрын
@@alegriart I think it has several meanings, and some havent figured it out, ive watched it several times...and just noticed after she holds the heart the hand choking her is gone..she is free.....everyone has felt a loss, or something we cant attain.....seriously, the more you wach you see it all

Losing what you love through death ?? is like having your fingernails pulled away only worse. Because physical wounds can be healed. Physical death is a curse worked on us all. But what I am learning through this music (and video) is the ability to frame the question, "What do I do now? I've tried to free you from my psychic bonds. Sometimes i feel "power" from you. But the tears fall still, still, forever? What do I do? What are you representing to/for me? What am I supposed to be learning from this? "This solitude I've found" now it's calling me again. I had just begun to try and fill my life with the company of like-minded others. Now this is calling me again.. Is this right? This needs to be turned from the one moving with a constricted throat - turned around. Our frozen lives will break and the heart recovered. I was feeling everything backwards? So much pain and loss.

Just heard it from a different perspective because I was listening, trying to think why this song makes me think of Beethoven. There are many visual elements that seem like him. Beethoven shook his fist at death and it is like the frozen bear head smashing, but then I thought, No, it is more likely deep poetry that he was so fond that reminds me of all of his quotes when It occurred to me that he no longer even needed blood...that opened up a whole new "take" being far from home would mean they were somewhere their lover wasn't and it didn't seem like love. But, eventually they see them again in a beautiful place where things like hearing are not needed... woah! Maybe I went too deep, but this song always makes me think about Beethoven.
