So poignant that a great chieftain wrote this on his deathbed, suffering from a grievous head wound. He was humbly praying for healing, as we are admonished to do, yet, was he already envisioning his soul passing beyond mortality and the quests of this world? I pray that he, in a final moment, letting go of all earthly tethers, was truly at peace.

This song always makes me think of bards at a medieval inn, and no matter how many times I listen to it, there's always something new to discover in it.

Songs mean different things depending on when you hear them, maybe how you listen as well. I just realized that I actually do hide alot without realizing it. But, now, this time the song was like an admonition to be social and at least smile and be cordial to those I meet along the way. Not at all what the song usually means to me.
