Ranjit Singh ji, but things are quite different in our society today. A constant effort has been done and being done to segregate Sikhism from the Hindu civilization. Hindu is never a religion and this was ruled by Honorable Supreme court of India decades back. As explained by Supreme Court, Hindu is a civilisation spread in old greater India spread from Mayanmar in the east to Afghanistan in the west and from Tibet in the north to Srilanka in the west. Where as Hindu is a way of living, Guru Nanak initiated the philosophy to guide the Hindus to Right way of living, the teachings were further continued by nine Gurus and summed up in Guru Granth Sahib by tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. Gurus had to make great sacrifices to fight the evil forces in whose grip of superstitions, customs, false practices the whole Hindu society was chained in those times. What I see today is that the spirit of Khalsa, a truthful man, is diminishing. Forces against which Gurus sacrificed their everything, are making inroads in our society. Leave aside smoking, every kind of drugs and intoxicants are widespread consumed in Punjab. Moral values are a big casuality. We are seeing Punjab going down since last four decades with least hope for future.

Hindu hindusim follow sanatan 95% . From sanatan dharma then rise bhuddism ,jain religion and sikh religion . Yes they are diffrent from hindus but a part of sanatan religion . Eg sikh ,jain hindus burn their bodies ,they marrige ritulas are 90% same both are from INDIA any many more !!!!!! Sanatan means akaal , endless , Om . OM IS NOT A HINDU BUT A SANATAN HYMEN . @@arnavkumargupta3804 Sikh gurus didnt gave martydom for hindus only but for EVERY person who was being oppressed and will continue to do so ..Sikh gurus build mosques for Muslims as well ..Foundation of Darbar sahib,Amritsar (one of the most holiest places was laid by a Muslim saint. Guru Granth Sahib ji is full of teachings of saints from different backgrounds... So ,Khalsa is not part of snatan or anyone else so your made up false information will not change real history of Sikhs so better work on improving your own snatan .
