This is one of the best summations of Renaiassance art that I've watched (and I've watched a lot of them!!). It's near perfect for the general viewer. You might have mentioned the discovery of Lucretius's On the Nature of Things, which is the single most influention thing in the rebirth of secular culture. It was discovered by Poggio, who also discovered the hugely influential De Architectura by Vitruvius (without which, Michelangelo would have been lost). Your Italian pronunciation is good (complimenti davvero!!), but Medici is pronounced MED-ee-chee. Since you ask, a major artist you should include is Andrea del Sarto, out of whose studio came the Florentine Mannerists (Pontormo, et al).
