Enjoyed this long chat 😊 That sage green ballpoint pen is a Ballograf Epoca. I l have that same one and several other colors (from Jetpens). I think it takes other brands of refills if you want to put a true ballpoint ink in it. And I'm 100% with you on the feel of ballpoint on Tomoe River paper - I love that texture and crinkle so much!🎉❤

Finally getting to watch this. I'm spending time with all (and I mean ALL) of my pens, pencils, gel pens, markers and whatever else I find. I need to weed out the dudes and use my favorites. Still trying to figure out why I have a large crochet hook! I am rediscovering the joys of a simple ball point pen. I guess I never knew there was a difference in the ink. My husband used to bring home Biro pens from work so I still have a few hanging around. One of my former coworkers bought me a set of Papermate Ink Joy gel 0.7 pens in an assortment of colors. They are very nice, but not consistent. Many of them have stopped working even though there is ink. They are fun to play with and the colors are a surprisingly nice assortment. I have been using the MD Notebooks but I should try the Hobonichi. I'm surprised I haven't been using them since I love the paper so much! 🤣

The ink Joy are super fun! I am in MD paper right now. Trying to use up the notebooks I have. Next I have another Leuchtterm, so I am going to use bold black ink and write my heart out, as it can take it. Then probably back to a Hobonichi. I have a day free in the wings :)

Me too, me too !!!! 😮 I LOVE OLIVE KITTERIDGE (even the short miniseries they did on MAX or Hulu.. Loved it. 😍) Also... I'd love to know what those 2 Robin's Egg blue/green ballpoint are too. Sooooo pretty. ❤

Someone just commented that the pen is an Epoca Ballograf :) and wasn’t the HBO Olive miniseries wonderful?! I need to watch it again.

The pen you are asking about is an Epoca Ballograf ballpoint pen. I really like the refill, but I am not a fan of the pen body. I use the refill in an Ohto Rays pen and in the Kaweco aluminum gel roller. I am curious about the thicker body Parker jotter. I find the regular jotter too short and jotter XL a bit too thin at the bottom.

The thicker body Parkers are the Urban and the IM. I like them both! They are all too thin for me at the bottom. I really love triangular grips and want to try a Lamy Safari ballpoint.
