I really enjoyed this - lovely video. Thank you for taking the time to make it and for sharing your collection with us. You clearly have no need for another grey ink, but if you put in a Yoseka order, you might enjoy a sample of Lennon Tool Bar Twilight - my all time favorite ink. It dries lighter than it goes down, it has a bit of shading, and it’s waterproof. Your review of the Vanishing Point made me very much want one, but as a lefty overwriter with a unconventional grip, I knew the clip would be problematic. I discovered that Majohn makes a lovely duplicate at a reasonable price. It doesn’t have the Pilot springy gold nib and I was right about the clip, but it’s usable enough for quick planner entries. Sharing in case another of your viewers has an interest.

I will definitely try the Lennon Tool Bar sample. That’s how I buy new inks these days. Enough to fill a pen once and enjoy :) So interesting about the clip on the Pilot. That makes a lot of sense. I used to write like that when I was younger and it would have been a problem for sure. Thank you so much for your thoughts ❤

I loved this video. I listened to it while organizing my papers and cleaning a bit. You know my feelings about Hobonichi and tomoe river paper!! I believe they have an A5 planner with blank grid pages, the Cousin I think it's called. I had one for 2021 but didn't fill it. I am using the papers for my collage work and it is beautiful to print on, paint on, eco-dye. I can't remember how it is set up, but it might be worth a look.

@@suehushin7115 I have used the Cousin, and it is a date planner, which just doesn’t work for me. They have blank notebooks but the paper is white, not cream. Hopefully this new one will be good! It’s a third of the price. ♥️

A lady in a FB group shared an Ina-ho recipe with me. Tried it and it is great. Mixed from 3 Pilot Iroshizuku inks: Chiku-rin 4 drops, Yu-yake 10 drops, Syo-ro 1 drop. Very similar as well are Robert Oster Muddy bucket, Ferris Wheel Press Goose Poupon, Sailor Moroccan Mint Tea. 🤗

@@kateriewing My very favorite is Colorverse Anti-Matter. It is a very slightly lavender leaning grey. It's tough though because it's only available as a smaller "satellite" bottle (Colorverse uses a space theme) to their grey ink Matter, which I do not like nearly as much as Anti-Matter. I also really enjoy Scribo Grigio, though you may find that too dark based on what you described in this video.

I wonder if you would like J. Herbin Toits de Paris. It’s a beautiful blue grey and not too dark. I got a bottle in Paris for a December ink exchange. I wish I had just kept it instead of participating because I didn’t end up liking the ink I drew in the swap. I filled my broad nib bed Lamy Al-Star before wrapping it up and love it. And I don’t like grey ink so that is saying something.

Are you opening the back valve on your Narwhal when writing to let the ink flow to the feed? You must do that with vac filling pens.

You have a gorgeous collection! Did you change out the nib on your Kaweco Al sport anthracite for a gold one? I love the look of the gold accents! It really brings out the lavender in the grey so much
