Whenever I hang out with a new friend, I always invite them there with me because its so fun and exciting (and i cant help but pick up a new pen every time… they also have a teeny tiny washi tape section that i cant resist lolol)

Artist Craftsman Supply is also here in Portland, Maine. It’s my go to and love all the choices you can find. That book looks so cool! I love book stores and can spend hours in them. It was just great watching you and your sister hanging out. I miss going to NYC more often. It’s just a major haul from Maine haha.

I was so disappointed in Kinokuniya last time I was in NYC (granted that was nearly a year ago so maybe improved?). I used to love the stationery dept in the basement but it was smaller and just so tight with boxes of stock and looked a bit abandoned. Have to check out those bookstores next time.

such a cute haircut! i really like your apple pencil grip. i have one that is for an actual pencil and i squeeeeezed it into my apple pencil. i find it annoying that i have to remove it every time i want to charge my pencil. does yours have to be removed for charging too?

i completely agree with your brush pen feelings!! i like the tombow fudenosuke hard tip a LOT, but the soft tip feels too much like a brush lol. also, love your thoughts on buying very intentionally, i’ve been trying to do so myself as well and hearing it from you was encouraging :-)) lots of love from oregon!!
