Hiii. it's 3:47 am and am going through all your videos one by one. thank you for doing this. i have been wanting to start watercolor painting for a while now. i also enrolled myself for a few courses on udemy. but the insane expectations to buy expensive colors and papers which are not even available in India clubbed with my immature attempts to do with what was available here had led me to make paintings which came nowhere near to what the artist was doing in those videos. your exhaustuve explanations and focus on what could be found in India in terms of paraphernilia has rekindled my fire to paint again, after having left it for a while now. thank you for this! i will follow the whole course diligently and share my progress once i feel I have drawn something that is of worth. but thank you so much. this is all i needed. thank you

Because you have taken out precious time to type such a wonderful comment, let me honestly tell you my intention was to put up an entire course so people become confident with watercolour and would be able to paint on their own without youtube eventually. As a teacher i’ve done my job fully then. When it comes to watercolour, it is challenging compared to other mediums but once you get the hang of it, will liberate you as an artist. Please watch the techniques video and control watercolour video a couple of times and practice that everyday. If you do so, I guarantee you will excel at watercolour!

Not only this, I plan to put up an entire acrylic course too. Acrylic and watercolour are great mediums to know, as sometimes a painting would look better in acrylic than in watercolour, and would be easier.

Brustro mop brushes. I like those very much. My personal favourite right now.

Those are good too! But if you try slightly aggressive techniques like lifting and scrumbling, they tend to shed hair with time.

@@artbyshivangi agreed. I've experienced this too.

@artbyshivangi2 жыл бұрын
Seekhne ke liye 300 gsm best hai. Mere channel par lesson no.1 dekh sakte ho, detail mei samajh a jayega. Hamesha rough side par paint karna hai , agar loose sheets khareedi hai.

Koi ek brush use Krna ho as a beginner to Kon si size ki brush achhi hogi.. like same brush se hi filling b ho jaye or outline jaisa wrk b ho jaye???

Usually beginners ko small size paintings try karni chahiye. Uske liye ek ache quality ke Round brush no 6 se sab ho jayega.
