Try Stencil Stuff to transfer your stencils... The transfers will come out much darker and not smudge on those skins. Also, Spirit Masters transfer sheets are great. Awesome work... A shop that won't take you in as an apprentice would be a fool and probably one that you wouldn't want to be part of anyway.

I ordered most everything you have listed. I had ordered a kit, but I ran out of black ink, since they were only 2 oz bottles. Lots of cheap looking color which I did not need. Also, I like the skin better than the fruit. Bananas are ok, oranges are better but cardboard with skin is best! Amazon ran out of stainless steel grip handles so ordered them from China. Your art is great and good luck on your Apprenticeship, you should apply in Chicago. There are many shops with apprenticeships just waiting to work with you. A 6 to 8 week stay just to get it is ok , unless your working or something else in your city. Thanks for your help

hey christina, i stumbled across your channel,. nice artwork,. from what i've seen atleast;) you might wanna start by learning the parts of your coil machines,. take em apart and putting them back together,. if you haven't tried real skin it be hard for me to explain the rest but the fake skin concerned you should try to get the lines in the first go over(if that is an explanatory sufficient word to use)try adjusting your voltage setting on your powersupply,. and try doing it without rotating skin. hope this helps:)...

Hey, I love your setup, mine is very similar and I am definitely going to try a rotary too. Which needles/tips do you use for shading and which for lining? Love what you do, keep it going you'll be a great tattooist one day!!!

That particular rotary machine is for all lining, shading, and color packing. Just adjust the top plastic screw and it will adjust the give as needed. Wait until you purchase a professional machine you will never want a cheap price machine again.

Also Itattoo in my experience is the best fake skin to use.

Look up reelskin on google. I haven’t used it yet but from what I seen it’s as good as it gets and shades really well. Not too expensive but worth a try

Hey! I also just buy some stuff to learn. Also not the best stuff but i just started to learn. I wanna ask you one thing. What stick is it that you use before you put the stencil on your fake skin?
@ChristinaSmith6 жыл бұрын
By stick I'm assuming you mean what pen am I using to trace the artwork to make the stencil? I have a black waterford ball point medium tip pen refill that somehow ended up with me even though I don't have a waterford pen in the first place. I have found that it works well for drawing directly on the silicon so I just have ended up keeping it with my tattoo stuff.

Christina Smith no i mean like you’re video of the old school traditional pin you ise some creme you put on your fake skin and than you put yout stencil on it. I hope you understand me because im from belgium and my english is not so really good hihi. Thnx for your time!
@ChristinaSmith6 жыл бұрын
ohh it's a deodorant in the US called Speed Stick. It wouldn't use it on a person because it's not sterile. But for fake skin it works for transferring the stencil.

How old are you? When did you start to tattoo
@ChristinaSmith6 жыл бұрын
I'm 34 years old. I started with a machine close to 2 years ago but but I've had to go through several cheap ones until I've found the machine that works best for me. I do not work on people and only use practice skins.
