At first the loudness/audio quality of the video really turned me off. But then you explained things so simple and crystal clear, that I felt embarrassed about my initial reaction. Your videos are so, so great. Thank you very much.

Everyone always talks about breaking down subjects into simple shapes/forms but you actually demonstrated how to with simple subjects, complex subjects, and natural subjects. So happy to have found your channel and this fundamental series. Well done! I'm an old fart who has always been interested in drawing but haven't taken the time to learn. It's tougher to learn now. My fingers are arthritic and my brain isn't as sharp and my eyes are shot but hey learning without judging the initial results is as fun as it ever was. I'm in. Thank you for sharing.

I just found this channel yesterday, and I must say it's incredible. I've been an artist for over 20 years, but unfortunately stopped working on art for a long time. So most of this I do already know, but I felt like I should brush up on the fundamentals since it's been so long. Your videos have been fantastic at helping me knock off the rust and remember all the topics I learned years ago. Thank you!

Thank you for this wonderful video. I am an art major in college, and I have never gotten a lesson on the art fundamentals. My first drawing instructor was always hungover and my second was pressured by the class to provide assignment based work rather than instruction based work. Your tutorials have been a major help to me. The only item you have not covered/don't plan to cover is line, but I have been using the instructional on drawabox.com for that, so no worries. Thanks for your work.
