So excited for you, as I vicariously enjoy the haul. I believe the stickers with the Caran D’ache products are to indicate which product you have in each gorgeous red tin. So for example, you could put the Neocolor II sticker on that tin to distinguish it from a different tin with a different product but they put a sheet of stickers with all their products in the tin. I just got the 15 set and it had stickers for other things that come in smaller tins like that but not for the pencil sets.

I'm in Canada. A lot of Canadian art stores have had supply issues related to the pandemic and I also noticed the Strathmore journals were unavailable everywhere. But I'm noticing they are starting to be restocked. Even my local Michaels, which has been out of EVERYTHING for a couple of years had them the other day.

Omg I would be so happy to have the Strathmore back! I’ll keep looking. Do you know of other big art store than Michaels and Deserre in Canada? I tried researching but couldn’t find much else.

I have the art creation sketchbook and can get good layers with inks and Neocolor II as long as I use clear or regular gesso first. I ordered my art creation from Deserres. 😊

I have never seen it in stores but it’s good to know I can order it! I didn’t use gesso with it and it was ok but I was pretty careful with the amount of water. Ill keep that in mind though!

HI amateur artist here. Do you see a big difference between the supracolors and the museum aquarelles? I have the complete set of the supracolors but I don’t know how to use them very well

Yes I think there’s a difference in the intensity of color (Museum > Supracolor) BUT I don’t have the complete set of supracolor so maybe it’s the colors I do have are not a good representation of the entire line. I still love my Supracolors! I published a video not too long ago in which I detail my watercolour pencil process if you’re interested :)
