OMG I love that Winged Jedi site!!! Thank you!! Architecture from Asia is my favorite style so this site is a goldmine! I just love how they incorporate the surrounding environment into their architectural schemes instead of, like us Europeans and Americans, imagining an architectural scheme and then bulldozing the earth to realize that plan.

We saw so many cool temples and buildings during our trip! I really hope the photos will come in handy for other artists. Let me know if you end up drawing or painting something - I'd love to see it!

❤❤❤ I totally love my kerutake Gamsai Tambi as I have the first box set. The photos you took on your trip to Japan are beautiful. You can tell you are an artist in the way you angled the camera to get the river and sky. I thoroughly enjoyed this video and found it very relaxing, so thank you. Much love & *Virtual hugs* from Perth Western Australia xxx

Dear Claire, thank you so much for your kind comment! It makes me really excited that my video even reached someone on the opposite side of the globe! :) Also, thank you for your compliment on my photography skills. I always feel that they aren't that great, but I've been trying to take pictures more intentionally as reference photos for paintings, and hope that others artists will find them useful. Glad you liked my video and you found it relaxing. That is what I'm hoping my videos will be. Warm hugs from cold Northern Germany to Perth!

@@wingedjedi_art I shall take that cold hug with pleasure. It's hot as Hades here atm. Air conditioner at night. We didn't get spring at all we just flat out went into full summer. XxX

@@clairewalters8238 Oh dear, that sounds like the polar opposite of our weather, which is equally not fun! I hope you and your family will get through the summer well!

Beautiful video! I love all the Gamsai Tambi paints. I have the Kissho darks and love those too. Thank you for sharing the photo site.

Thank you so much! Do you have the smaller or the larger set of the Kissho darks?

I have the smaller set but find them so unique that I plan to get more of them.@@wingedjedi_art

OH YAY! I noticed you picked up a pack of the Midori index tabs (that's the blue set with the little 1 mm numbered tips) I buy those EVERY year to go with my Hobonichi Techo planners because the little 1 mm tips are the perfect size to not stick out further than the cover! You might love the Hobonichi Techo planners. They come in all different formats, I like the ones that have 7 days separated equally down one side ( a box filled with a dot graph) and the facing page is just a dot graph! The amazing thing about them is the PAPER! It is called Tomoe S River paper and it is thin and translucent and makes that satisfying crinkle noise BUT NOTHING BLEEDS THROUGH!! I use my fountain pens with all different inks, I draw with them, I SATURATE those pages and nothing bleeds through. Yes, you can SEE it from the other side since it is translucent, but it doesn't seep through!!!!! And there's something so satisfying about seeing the inks on both sides with both sides filled with designs and drawings and that CRINKLE sound!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I swear to God I am not a rep for Hobonichi🤣🤣🤣🤣

I've heard so many good things about the Hobonichi planners, but haven't gotten one yet because I'm unsure about the page layout, but reading your excited comment has made me super curious about the paper! I've already gotten started on a Leuchtturm bullet journal for 2024, but next year will have a stressful work event, so I'll probably go for a pre-printed planner/calendar for 2025. Will keep the Hobonichi in the back of my head! By the way, my little index thingy includes enough numbers for 4 planners (4x12 months). Thank you for your comment(s)! =)

@wingedjedi_art they have so many different layouts you can definitely find one that suits you. They even have ones for the first half of the year and others for the second half.

@@amypanddirtytoo1926 Oh wow, half years? That is certainly unusual! I'll definitely take a look at their planners. Thank you for the recommendation! :)

Good evening! I love painting, but I don't have time to watch painting videos. Regards. 😀

Hi there! It is a super long video, isn't it? Sometimes watching others paint can be inspiring, but using your time to paint is even better!
