I absolutely adore the Baohong paper especially the rough but all of the Baohong artist grade and the academy are fantastic paper!!! Prefer them over arches any day!!!

Yes, it is dangerous to live within driving range of the store - you can see why! And yes, there are very quick at shipping and do it very well and with care.

Too many art haul videos. Surely there is sometimes else people can share, like a painting they are doing rather than us seeing a massive amount of supplies someone owns. Art is not about who dies with the most supplies!

Why is it different than food hauls, thrift halls, goodwill hauls, estate sale hauls…. I could go on for awhile

I can see that you were choosing colors from Holbein, but to ensure clean mixtures, instead of red a better choice would be magenta or quinacridone rose. That would ensure nice purples and bright oranges. Yellow is nice but I am not sure about the blue color. Cerulean blue would be a good choice as well. That would ensure clean greens. I chose colors like that for oil painting and I was able to paint portraits with nature background with just 3 colors plus white. Nonetheless hope you liked what you bought and had a great experience with them.

Ilona, thank you so much for taking the time for such an informative comment! I'm still new to gouaches, especially with all the color mixing aspects. I'll definitely keep this in mind the next time I'm at the art store with gouache on the list! 💛
