Hey dude, love the vids, just had a few questions. - what visa did you get and was it hard? - did you go to university or just a language school? - did you already have accommodation sorted before you arrived in Spain ? - did you get a job while you were there or just live off savings (or were you not allowed to work on your visa) Thanks mate!

Yooo dude I’m happy to answer those questions! -I got a long term student visa. Not sure where you are coming from but I’m sure it won’t be that hard for you. -I went to a language school. In order to get a student visa they have to be accredited by the Cervantes institute. *check the student visa requirements on the Spanish gov website and they will have a list of everything you need to get in order to obtain a visa. -I had a 3 week Airbnb lined up before I went 😂 honestly it was super tough to find a good spot to live. If you have the chance, maybe try to work out housing before you arrive, it will solve a bunch of headache -I wanted to work but my visa claimed I wasn’t authorized so I just lived off savings Hope this helps!

For example if I want to stay a year do I pay for 50 weeks of lessons or can I book 30/40 whatever and spread them out?

Hey man good to hear from you! Yeah I made it back home and have been so stoked. Being abroad gave me so much new appreciation for Cali. I’m actually going to do a little bit of van living in the near future to keep the adventure going. You’ll probably see those updates some time soon!

hey! i talked to you a few weeks ago regarding some questions I had about visa/permit to live in spain. turns out the process I'm going through right now is exactly the same as yours , thus you can imagine how helpful that video has been to me. that said, i'll be moving to valència in 2 weeks, and even though your channel has been more than helpful to getting a good picture of how this beautiful city is - and making me even more excited to go there - I was wondering if you'd have any extra tips you could give for someone who's about to go through the same adaptation process as you did. anything at all would be super helpful. thanks and keep up creating amazing videos!

@@oluwafeyialade8450 I didn’t! there was only an online exam the erasmus programme sent me, but as far as I’m concerned it was just meant to level your proficiency and for data purposes. I did have some exams in spanish though; it all depends on the courses you’re gonna choose.

@@oluwafeyialade8450 didn’t think they were that difficult… perhaps one or two courses had more content hence more time was needed from me. I also showed up to most of my classes which consequently helped me studying at the end of term. i was doing psychology at universitat de valencia. sadly it was only for one semester so i’m already back!
