I don’t know why, and I hope it doesn’t sound too weird, but part of why I enjoy your videos so much is your hands. Your hands are just very elegant and your mannerisms (how you hold the journal, flip pages, etc) are so pleasant and relaxing.

Like the idea of burying your thoughts under paint. Excellent therapeutic method. That Moleskine can take it, even if it doesn't take ink very well!

I really appreciate that this particular journal of yours is not about perfection, and it is full of character! I just started journaling, and love having a journal like this one where I can experiment and try new things without worrying about perfection. Thank you for sharing!

I'm using my expanded moleskine for morning pages, but I've had little bits of inspiration from your channel, and I've included stickers and paints on my pages... I love that art and journaling can be messy and strange. Your journal is so uniquely you! Thanks!

Really enjoyed this video, you have such creative ideas. This is such a help for me because all I ever do in my journals is make lists and keep track of appointments. I just bought two Moleskines at TJ Max ( from your suggestion ) and I love the size and feel of them, thanks 😀

A fun flip. Yes, I'm currently flipping through older journals and it's fun to see what inspired me then and to this today.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I have been struggling with how to use an art journal. Do I write or create art or both. Which one do I do first? They say there are no rules but I think I am a person who needs a plan. Your suggestions and encouragement have made me feel a little more confident and almost ready to jump in and get started.

I always love your art journal flip throughs. They make me want to buy a blank notebook and start doing one myself! I currently have a ruled Moleskine Expanded for journal writing. I’m curious if you keep a separate notebook for writing only?

Thanks for sharing your personal ideas. I absolutely relate. I have beautiful notebooks with great paper that ends up been collected because I don’t want to use them and mess them up. I want to be more creative but A blank page also can be intimidating. Looking at your notebook flip helps me to dive in and just start doing something. And also enjoy the process, does not need to be perfect. Thanks for your video.

Our library happily gives away older magazines that they are removing from the shelves. They would much rather give to someone then throw them in the trash headed to the landfill.

Is your book an A5?

It's slightly slimmer width wise than an A5, but same height.
