Thank you so much for sharing something so personal. It was beautiful I could see your progression and so much meaning and even the works. You’re not sure about yourself. You definitely have a style in the way you portray people as silhouette pictures almost it’s continued into your current work, 2023.

I loved this journal exploration. Usually I like the no talking flips but I was very interested in your reflections on your work. Your work is so expressive! And yes, I’d like a video or two on working while not feeling well. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself. It’s brave to put yourself out there.

Hi Gail, I’m so glad you enjoyed this weeks video! Thanks so much for letting me know that you would be interested in an “Art Nest” video with tips on creating when not feeling well. Gosh that could almost be a whole series couldn’t it! I’m grateful for your kind words about the courage it takes to share personal subjects in these videos. It is a bit scary but in a world that teaches us not to talk about difficult things I think it is an important subject to share on. Have a lovely day!

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for this flip through! This is absolutely what I needed today. I’m going to pick back up my own healing journey and journal. ❤Thank you. And I was reminded of the importance, at least for me, of dating at least some of my pages. I tend to forget when I’ve done things.

Loved going through your sketchbook with you! I’m happy for your comments! It’s fun to see someone do the same kinds of reactions I’ve had as you flip through the pages not always remembering the why’s of them. Sometimes being surprised at the quality of the work. That was fun! Thank you!

Thanks Karen! It made me realize that I never look back at my old art journals. It was an interesting experience to look back at that time in my life with the wisdom and healing that I’ve gained over the years. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

I love this Linda. I have had a lot of trauma too and I want to start a journal like this. I lost my brother to substances 17 years ago and have just got over grief. I love what you wrote about giving yourself away and that's very true you're very wise with Linda. I've just recently started to heal from trauma and I think that this video came at a very good time for me anyway. Thank you so much for sharing your private life a little bit we are all vulnerable and that's what makes us all unique. Take care and say hi to Don for me much love.

Thank you for sharing this intuitive sketchbook, it’s beautiful and moving. Seeing your tribute to your precious Mia, brought me to tears. I still love and miss my precious Mookie, a standard poodle, she died in my arms 4/12/03. I would love to learn how to create an intuitive sketchbook. To experience the power would be awesome. I hope your beautiful smile is because you are feeling better. You are in my thoughts, prayers and heart ❤️, sweet young lady❣️love, Fran

The beauty of Intuitive journaling is that you don’t need to have any “artistic” abilities. As a matter of fact people who are not artist Often find it easier to do authentic intuitive work than artists do because artists get hung up on “making pretty paintings”. Grab a Journal and dedicate it to just doing emotional/intuitive work. In the video I uploaded on Friday I talk about that a bit more.

That's one beautiful sketchbook. There's something completely satisfying about the look of a filled sketchbook with the wavy pages and all. Your sketchbook is so filled with emotion and it's so moving. I like your "find-shape"-animals as well, might try it out myself. Thank you for sharing Linda. I hope things will get easier soon. Enjoy your art nest ♥️ Edit: Oh, and I usually prefer talking over flip through but I liked that you had both. Like a reflection of everything as a whole.

Thanks so much J, I’m blessed that you were touched by the emotional work in my sketchbook. The chronic health issues are up and down so I will be feeling better soon I’m sure! Yes, do play with the torn paper creatures! Sometimes things other than animals show up like boats, mountain’s anything your imagination can find in the shapes. Have fun with it! 🤗

Thanks for sharing! If you don’t mind, what brand/type of sketchbook is this? I didn’t catch what kind it is! Thanks so much!

Thanks for asking I didn't realize I hadn't put a link in the video description. Mine is a very old sketchbook so I'm not sure if they have changed them at all but here is a Link (affiliate) to the version Moleskine sells now. amzn.to/3uxmNbP They also carry ones with more expensive "Art" paper but I always liked their classic sketchbooks for intuitive journaling.
