This has to be one of my favorites art journal pages. I love a little abstract funkiness to my cards and journals. I had never tried art journal design before. I just made cards but ended up ruining hand made envelopes again and again. Now I design, layout, test colors and highlights in an art journal. That way I "sort of" have a record of the card design because of course the card is in the mail. My husband was overseas (several times) but this last Naval deployment he really enjoyed my whimsical and slightly over the top cards. Thanks for the journal ideas. And by the way, I hum your theme music, (the kids think I'm nuts). And when I hear "Hi Vikki here'" my mood changes to good. Thanks for that!

I was just telling my sister that I love the symbolism of the butterfly and love how beautiful they are but I ended up having a bit of a problem with photos of real butterflies and saw their insect body inside those beautiful wings... the paint tubes solved that problem LOL... thanks for sharing your creativity with us... have a great weekend! 😃
