Vicky, I am trying to do an art journal page like this. Although I know it is not my original idea it is good practice for me. But for me it has been incredibly difficult. I had to do my background 3 times to make room for the sentiment. My point is,however, that you,dear heart, are so talented that when you do it, it looks easy. You have no worries that anyone can copy your work. You are the BOMB!

I tend to adhere two pages together when I feel I need more strength. So yes, it does seem thicker cause it is! You should give it a try with art journaling, it's such a creative and fun process! Go ahead!
