I love everything about the page. It's probably one of my favourites! When you relax & just go with the flow, they always turn out different from your other "layer a day" type of art. The colour palette works beautifully with the florals. The black stenciling adds fabulous drama behind the white, giving an architectural feel to the piece. The addition of those tags are brilliant.😊❤🇬🇧

Sounds like trouble 😔 we actually have been spared in my part of the country so far but it has increased here too, so we try to stay as safe as we can and hoping for the best. Take care 💖

@@JessonArt I can't believe people can be so stupid! In the area I live, it is the county of Lincolnshire. It is split into three. North, North East & Lincolnshire. In the north (& north east where I live) there have only been 30 deaths. But, cases are increasing rapidly at the local College & schools in Grimsby & Scunthorpe. They think because it's low, it's non existent! I see troubled times ahead 😞

The health authority in Sweden thinks we will have to follow the restrictions for a year from now and I think unfortunately people will not have the discipline to do that and then we don’t have it as strictly as many other countries.

Thank you for sharing. I struggle with acrylics, you choose interesting color combinations, and it works at the end. I would love to learn more about your color choices.

I recognize your struggle, I don’t find acrylics easy but I decided to challenge myself last year to use acrylics more. I’m more of a spray, watercolor girl, I like it when colors run through the texture on the page. It gets easier with practice. Normally I choose colors I like, I’m more blue/green girl and very seldom choose yellow or red in my work. What specific would you like to know?

@@JessonArt I am also more a watercolor person. Often the acrylics seem too bright, how can I determine what they will look like when dry? I also struggle when mixing, trying not to make mud. Thank you for taking the time to answer. I have been binge watching your videos and really enjoy them.
@JessonArt

Too bright or too shiny? There are acrylics to buy with a Matt finish, like chalky paints. For color mixing, Invest or print out a color wheel (make sure it’s the wheel for painting not the one for digital stuff - very different)primary colors are yellow, blue and red. When you mix them together you get the secondary colors orange, green and violet. When you mix a primary with a secondary you get tertiary colors blue-violet, red-violet etc. I recommend you to google it and you will find a lot of info. Colors close to each other on the wheel are family or analogous colors, like green, green-yellow, yellow, they will never make mud. But colors on the opposite side of the wheel are called complementary colors like blue vs orange. It’s because these will make each other pop if you put them next to each other but when you mix them they will make mud. The there are shades, tints and tones this is when you add white, black and gray to your color. Play with your color, make swathes, mix them in different ways, write down what colors you used in you mixes, make swatches and save for later. Hope this will help you get started 🤗💗
