For this video, my cloud mix recipe is: 2 parts pouring medium - 1 part Chormacryl White - 1 part DecoArt Satin Enamel - 1 part Vallejo Pearl Medium + a very small amount of water.

I 'rescue' any paint that gets spun or tilted off by scraping it off of the table, straining it and saving it to use as a base coat for future pours. Very little waste!

How do you know how much base coat to put down? And how much of the other paints to use? Ty

Hi Sally! I hate to break it to you, but there’s a math equation 😂 In inches, first measure your canvas. Multiply the Length x Width (which will give you the number of grams you need to cover your surface). To convert to ounces, divide that number by 28. For this 24”x24” canvas, I needed 20.5 ounces of base coat. In my split cup, I used 4 ounces in each chamber, for a total of 16 ounces. If I wanted to cover the corners too, I would have used more paint in the split cup. I hope that helps!
