Easy & fun art lesson: spin painting!
In this tutorial you will discover how to create fantastic spin paintings with your class. This art activity is great fun, simple to run and will provide amazing displays.
If you are working with younger year groups then this lesson is a great way to increase speech and language opportunities and help develop fine and gross motor skills.
The activity uses paint, but the beauty of it is that there is NO mess at all!
I regularly use this art lesson with all age ranges and the young artists love it!
There are many artists who use spin painting. Callen Schaub and Damien Hirst are some of the most well known, but a quick google and you will find thousands of examples of artist who play with this technique.

Yeah, absolutely. As long as there are high enough walls to stop the paint from going everywhere. I sometimes use large cardboard boxes.
