Ben Liebrand is the Remix king of the Netherlands, he invented it! In the past, on every Thursday night, during the great Ferry Maat's Soul a minimix from Ben was played. (actually he made many manual cuts on a tape to remix the songs). Ben's choice of music during these performances was great and still is. Thank you Ben.

Now I remember I stayed up very late on Friday's to listen at Ben's "in the mix" and recorded them all on my tapedeck :-) Anyway, I think the Ferry maat's Soulshow also had great music, mostly white labels from the US. I think Ben was also a big fan of it.

Peter Schön use a profect 5 in the solos? This was the version we used for more than 4 years in a major club in Madrid, we used to start the session, without a doubt the best version of "Moments in love" The solos were simply spectacular to hear, we took advantage of the finger fluffs to lower the light little by little

The keyboard parts were played by Peter Schön. Fun fact 1: They were played live over my DJ set, recoded on Sony F1 Digital Fun fact 2: Peter had never heard the track before in his life. Fun fact 3: Whilst he was doing his solo I told him there was a 4 beat 'stop' coming up soon, which I counted down with my hand in his view. After which he perfectly continued, without having a clue what was coming after the 4 finger-snap-stop. Fun fact 4: tuning to the right pitch was done on the fly, as well as switching the sounds he used.
