Art on Tile "Sharpies anyone?"

After trying with little success to use regular inks to create on tile I rediscovered Sharpie markers.

Is it safe to assume the tile was glazed and not porous?

correct these are pre-glazed tiles from the home decor store.

I doubt I could use these tiles in a shower, right? I need to redo my upstairs bathroom and need cheap alternatives to make my bathroom remodel affordable. Right now, my walls are just lath strips and plastic covering that...hideous, but, it takes a lot of money to remodel anything in my house.

I don't see why not. Once you art on them use a poly sealer, then just put them up like regular tile. Test one out. art on it then seal it and once the sealer sets drop it in a water bath and let it sit for a while to test it out.

@@Bmascraftycorner I could even try stamping on tiles with archival/permanent ink and sealing it....now this ferret has ideas and it's dangerous..lol.
