For years I drew on top of my bed and borrowed my kitchen table when my roomates weren't home and still managed to make huge paintings. The discipline I still have, everyday I'm up by 6 and I work for 9-12 hours. I am not trying to say you need a huge studio to become good, if that's what you took out of this video I'm sorry.

I love your space! Also everyone reading this- there are tons of free stuff on CL in the free section and near dumpsters, or even FB marketplace. Thrift stores are usually pretty affordable also. What I'm trying to say is not everything is as expensive as it seems! With a little effort and creativity, a lot can be accomplished on a budget!

I have one, but a hybrid with a rocking chair. It's definitely healthier (if you don't forget to stand up every 30-45 minutes to let blood flow freely into your knees). However, if your posture is bad and spine muscles are weak - better to train them first, because in my case I was IN PAIN when I sat on this chair for more than an hour. My back muscles apparently were soooo weak that I just couldn't handle this and I couldn't get used to it!

It's good but you must make sure you have the right height desk for it, otherwise it can be uncomfortable. I used to have one but my desk was too high and I ended up having to get rid of it as I couldn't make it work :(
