I have a buddy who has a really distinct drawing style (compared to other artists I personally know), something that I assume he developed from all the random drawings he did in our elementary/high school days when we were still kids. I vaguely remember him talking to one of our other friends about drawing and the conversation went something like this: Other Friend: Dude, your art style is really unique. I really like it. Buddy: ....I have an art style?! I thought I was just following everyone else's drawing techniques.

I think that one large thing about daidus's style is that, its very flexible and evident on how much effort is put into the drawing and that it has evolved a lot over the course of his online career so its a little bit harder to pin point exactly the vibe that his style is.

I relate to Daidus not wanting to make FOMO type content. I used to watch MTV and social media and it was all "WOO!!! Spring break in Tijuana, bet you wish you were here!!!" and part of me wanted to experience it. The other part realized how tiring it is to live that kind of fast-paced life. You can't really win, and people who make entire careers out of it seem tired. I do appreciate some of the travel videos with optional subtitles like "Sleeper Trains in Japan" or "Eating Ramen at a Singapore 7-11" I can relate to those videos because they are actually doing stuff I could see myself doing in those countries.
