Charlie, Im an art teacher in the same district as Lindsay. Ironically bought a ‘99 Thomas Built pusher from a fella out in Riffle last August. I had planned on meeting Lindsay to check her bus out at the beginning of the school year but never made it over, how time flies. Glad to finally get a tour of her bus and see your work. My dad is from NOLA ❤️ this build is utterly beautiful 😍 I love the layout and all the colors. Amazing job both of you. I think this is the way to go for many who don't want to get into all the ground work. At least that is the way I would do it. I can build but I am not sure on the bones of a build. She did a beautiful job. I may be biased because many of the colors are the same in my bus. I made a dresser out of a stack of suitcases just like what she has in the entrance. My colors are purple red and turquoise. I love her bus. ❤ you and your team did an excellent job on the framing and bones of the bus. She has everything she needs. Very cool! my only beef with propane, at least down here, is that filling stations are not common and the MPG with propane is even less than with gasoline. My bus company had a propane bus briefly and it was a lot of work to keep it full!

So I have a year 2000 Bluebird 5.9 cummins 24v MD3060 Puller. Thanks to you, I was able to identify this transmission I have. I was trying to figure out which one it was. Anyway I'm in Tampa florida. I like that she kept the original door. Since she stayed in -20 degree weather, did you do anything extra to make sure the door sealed completely? I would guess the door has a low R value and allows a lot of heat/cold transfer.

The front of the bus with the original door and windows did loose heat, but that’s why I put the stove there. It more than compensated for the loss and actually helped since it got very warm with a raging fire! We did some weather stripping around the door and it honestly worked just fine.

It is truly shocking the RV industry doesn’t use mini splits. They are way more efficient in my understanding of air conditioners. You can hide that box in the body if needed but on a lot of overland rigs they use mini splits so they can have a/c with solar.

What is a good strategy for venting an oven range hood? Out the top, or out the side? The oven will be mounted with it's back facing the side of the bus... Just realizing that you could offer "remote consulting" over video chat; Charge $100 for a 30 minute one on one session.

See? The sister has the right idea! Share your business. Why should I stress myself over all that stuff when there are companies out there willing and able to get the job done? Thd only problem I would have is there’s too much fuel onboard. I want strictly electric with plenty of solar. Oh and the purple would have to go. But other than that I love it. I love anytime someone repurposes one thing to make it something completely different. It shows way more imagination then I have! So sorry she as to sell it. It looks amazingly comfortable! Thanks for showing this beauty!! If you want to see what boat life is like check out “Gone With the Wynns.” They lived in an RV full time for 10 years then sold everything and bought a catamaran!
