She is - I can see it- when I look at her work, they feel like messages, and like reality unveiled. Thank you for this post and great insights :)

I do not usually comment on looks-however, it is the rare person who can carry red hair, eye makeup and lipstick well! Good on you for experimenting and realizing you were one!😊 And thank you for the video! We need to rewrite that whole ‘she wasn’t the first because she was outsider.’ No, it’s because she was a she. Stop it already, people.♥️✌️

Thank you so much for your knowledgeable and enthusiastic endorsement of Hilma af Klint. Her spiritually inspired paintings are stunning. Will go to Tate Modern, London asap to see her work on display.

What an interesting and jnsightful talk! Thank you. I wonder if anyone else has noticed the similarity of some of af Klint's motifs to Islamic geometrical patterns?
@marymacgregor-reid Жыл бұрын
It makes sense that she would have been aware of them with the interested in Arabic art really growing the Europe from the late 1800s. I think her connection to Theosophy would have given her insight into Islamic art too.

so well engaged! also ridiculous that religious iconography is almost fetishized in the art world and yet these portals to ascension are pretty much censored

agree! Russian icons are okay are "art" ... and her work is not!
