its good to see an artist who exercise as part of their routine, sitting all day drawing will destroy your back.

This is really nice to watch, being my first time on this channel. I hope to see more and will keep a close eye on what you do next. I imagined a very busy/jam-packed lifestyle but it was pleasant to see it isn't as fast paced as I thought.

I am a comic artist and I used to just sit from waking up to bed working. My body got injured all over from sitting too much doing the same movements and not getting enough exercise. I wasn't overweight so I thought I was okay but it caused so much damage. All of us who stay in the game end up fixing our lifestyle in the end haha. My doctor also said I absolutely needed a sit/stand desk as I was getting vein problems and it's a great thing to do if you can.

I've never tried a stand desk, but I've been wanting to get one myself!

Hi Toshi! I've browsed through your art gallaries and they were really good! Can I ask why you chose a more western artstyle instead of the popular anime-artstyle? Thanks!
@toshiatelier6 ай бұрын
Thank you for the comment! I didn't grow up watching anime or reading manga. I was more into western cartoon or animation even back then. If this is something people might be interested in, I'd love to make a video one day!

Hello! Good video man, if I can give you a tip/idea that I don't know if you can do in a next video, and it's if you could talk about what it's like to live in Japan being Character Designer and Illustrator, I'd like you to give your point of view since I would like in the future to live in Japan as a character designer, concept artist, you know... Again, good video is relaxing and quiet, I like it.

Hey dude, do you think its common to get a illustrator/motion designer job in Japan as a foreigner? especially with no degree T.T Would love to hear what you think about it!
@toshiatelier6 ай бұрын
Almost 100% of my work come from overseas, so I might not be the suitable person to answer that question, but if you have the right portfolio or reel, you should be eligible to get any creative jobs out here in Japan. For foreigners, you might need some sort of degree for visa, probably?? Hope this helps!
@creativecontent36646 ай бұрын
Pretty sure you need no degrees if u wanna pursue a career in art😂Just have a good portfolio
@muzammilhalimov6 ай бұрын
@@creativecontent3664 well this not appkies to Japanese migration policy, they will need you to have a degree...
@creativecontent36646 ай бұрын
@@muzammilhalimov I mean you can always do freelance for a japanese company for sure. And if your portfolio's REALLY good and they REALLY want you to work for them on site.... Some places wouldn't shy away from giving you a work visa👌Just my thoughts tho take it w a grain of salt
