A suggestion: When I make bezels similar to this, I fold the packing tape over on the ends. That way you have an area to hold that isn't sticky (making it easy to turn) and you can place pieces close together for curing without worrying that the tape will interfere by sticking to other pieces. :)

Instead of trimming the excess tape, I fold it over so that I have something to grip kind of like handles

If you have a lot of resin overfill & it has hardened too much for scissors. Use a small amount of heat from a heat gun or very hot hairdryer to soften the overfill enough to be cut. Be careful to avoid the centre of your work or leave finger marks.

I made A similar Earring. My problem is I slightly over filled and got resin in the holes where the wires go. My question is now how do I clean out those holes. Next question you said lay it on a good sticky piece of tape so I did that and now the back of the earring a sticky. How do I get the sticky off what can I use to put on it that will be a ring. great tutorial! how long are you supposed to wait before adding any kind of color (pearl ex, mica powder, etc) to the piece?
