Creality CR-Scan OTTER - SETUP, TESTING & HONEST REVIEW

In this video I'll be testing out the newest 3D Scanner from Creality called the CR-Scan Otter. This might be my new favorite scanner as it is able to capture very high resolution, It doesn't lose tracking very often, and it is very simple to use even for beginners. I tested this scanner out on both small and larger objects and the results were very good. See for yourself in the video on how easy this is to use and how well the scanner captured the detail and color mapping. Hey everyone, so this scanner is probably the best one I’ve used so far. It works really well and I hardly lost tracking at all which is usually one of the biggest problems I’ve seen. I heard IOS and Android support is on its way for this scanner. With an add-on to allow for wireless scanning. Something I am very much looking forward to. Hope it will come out soon!

The consumer scanner mainly do a good job when doing scan of one orientation. But when trying to do a proper 360 scan with merging of 2-3 different orientations, it often become a disaster. Sw crashes, takes hours or does not merge. Sw is almost the same important then Hw and here the consumer manufacturer really need to improve.
